Construction Mediator Logo Design

OrgMetrics, a San Francisco based large project Construction Mediator need and new brand and logo design. They wanted to use a local Graphic Designer and since AFD is the top ranked Brand Designer in the area, the referral was given to me. Through the process of meeting, discussing process and outcome, research, and concept design, the owner landed on the current design, which symbolizes the funnel of negotiation. The design has an element of illusion that tricks the eye. Is the funnel going inward, or coming outward?
